Annual Miami Trails event spread good cheer

LOVELAND, OH (December 7, 2022) – The Neighborhood Network of Miami Trails (NNMT) annual Santa visit and Toy Drive spread plenty of good cheer Saturday, December 4, from Noon-2 p.m.

Carrie Strole and Sarah Weber teamed with the NNMT outreach committee organizing the annual Christmas Season toy drive. During the two-hour long event at Miami Trails pool #2, neighbors were able to visit with Santa, drop-off new unwrapped gifts including toys clothing, winter gear and other donations for the LIFE Food Pantry. With more than 100 gifts of toys, clothing and winter gear along with over $350 dollars in monetary donations, the committee labeled the 2022 NNMT Toy Drive another success

It was more than just a drop off site. Under a bright blue sky, the children were treated to a visit with Santa Claus while dropping off their gifts. The kids and the parents made a craft and enjoyed a cup of hot cocoa served with Crumbl Cookies.

It was a fun day for everyone including helpers Tara Hamilton, Nicole Kormos, Kathryn Pees, Ethan McCaw and Joanne Prater who assisted Carrie Strole and Sarah Weber in spreading good cheer throughout the community.
