COVID-19 CALL CENTER AND ONLINE INFORMATION SITE OFFER CORONAVIRUS ANSWERS FOR THE PUBLIC

LOVELAND, OH – During Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s afternoon COVID-19 update today, it was announced the number of confrimed COVID-19 cases in Ohio has reached 169, with the first confirmed death attributed to the coronavirus.
Amy Acton, MD, MPH – Director of Health for the Ohio Department of Health spoke briefly following opening remarks by Governor DeWine. Acton reaffirmed the need for people to “do the right thing” social distancing to protect against the spread of COVID-19. She acknowledged the concerns and questions of people all around the State of Ohio. In response to those concerns, the Ohio Department of Health has created two key resources for the public: A call center and an online information site –
