Opening night reception Friday, November 15^th

LOVELAND, OH (November 14, 2024) – Contrary to any rumors you may have heard, the Art League of Loveland (ALL) is strong as ever and kicking off the Loveland holiday season with a special Nutcracker Holiday Art Show with an Opening Night Reception this Friday, November 15th 6-9 p.m.

The show runs 11 days November 15-25th at the Loveland Art Studios on Main in Loveland, Ohio. The show highlights some “truly amazing” nutcracker works of art by local Loveland artists – more than 50 unique works of art.

They include the premier nutcracker pieces like Tom Post’s “Leonardo DaVinci Prepping Supper”, Monica Achberger’s “Starry Night” gal! (Her hat depicts an actual star constellation!)

The show also features Gayle Hixson’s fabulous hand-painted and hand-sewn jester; D.J. Berard created a magnificent “Picasso” nutcracker finishing a painting and Teresa Nieberding, chairperson for this Nutcracker Holiday Art Show, features a Jazz Singer nutcracker.

It is Teresa who donated all these vintage nutcrackers for the artists to unleash their creativity in memory of an artist and dear friend of hers. The two shared a love of nutcrackers. When her friend passed away, she bequeathed all her unfinished nutcrackers to Teresa. This show, and the creative works of the local Loveland artists is her way (their way) of “paying it forward”; sharing it with you.

NOTE: The ALL artists are also holding Nutcracker classes ruing this holiday art show to be taught by some of their best artists.
