Three of the LHS students who tested positive for COVID-19 within the last week were members of the Tiger football team. As a result, 21 members of the team are under quarantine due to potential exposure. According to Athletic Director Brian Conatser the two remaining scheduled football games with Walnut Hills and Lebanon have been cancelled. The season is over.
The cancellations mean the Tigers close out the fall 2020 football season with an overall record of 1win against 6 losses, and finish in last place in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference without recording conference victory in four games to go 0-4 in ECC football action.
