Five Braves named Semifinalists

in the 2021 scholarship competition

INDIAN HILL, OH (September 30, 2020) – The National Merit Scholarship program recognized 18 Indian Hill High School Students for their outstanding performance last year on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Five students from Indian Hill High School have qualified for the National Merit Semifinalist Competition: Maya Anderson, Matthew Copfer, William Ford, Janaki Kode, and Victor Stettler.

In addition, 12 Indian Hill High School students have been recognized as National Merit Commended Scholars:  Saraus Anand, Audrey Bristol, Caroline Gaede, David Kholodenko, Kevin Lewis, Ethan Marx, Jai Masturzo, Sarah Motawi, Emily Sichel, Amitesh Verma, Olivia Wang, and Jenny Zhang.

Indian Hill High School also had one student, Andrew Sakemiller, recognized as a National Hispanic Scholar.

“This is an incredible moment in the academic careers of these Braves – they have achieved academic prestige and we are so excited to celebrate their hard-earned success,” said IHHS Principal Jeff Damadeo.
