Approximately 90 Organizations Serving At-risk Groups Have Received Supplies From Matthew 25

Friday March 20, 2020 CINCINNATI, OH – Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is providing emergency supplies including hand sanitizer, wipes, gloves, paper products and masks to local nursing homes, assisted care facilities, healthcare facilities, fire departments, police departments and more as part of their COVID-19 relief efforts.

These desperately needed supplies will help to support and supplement these organizations’ tireless efforts as they care for the community’s at-risk populations including the sick, the elderly, the impoverished, and others in need.
“Caring for our community is one of our top priorities,” says Matthew 25’s CEO Tim Mettey. “We will continue to do everything we can to support the amazing organizations who are on the front lines of prevention and containment. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is selflessly caring for those in need during this time. Thank you for your service to our community.”
To date, Matthew 25 has distributed more than 11,000 N95 and surgical masks, over 75,000 gloves, more than 10,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, over 3,000 packages of wipes, more than 1,200 rolls of paper towels, over 1,600 rolls of toilet paper and 400 personal care kits plus additional assorted personal care items (a total of approximately 33 pallets, nearly 20,000 pounds of supplies) to approximately 90 local organizations. These products will help with prevention efforts as well as help care for the sick and those in need during this unprecedented time. Matthew 25 will continue working with their local partners in the coming weeks to provide hope and help to the community of Greater Cincinnati.

In order to best protect the health of their staff and volunteers, Matthew 25: Ministries has suspended volunteer hours at their facility until further notice. Matthew 25 is accepting product donations during the business hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Matthew 25 will continue to share the recommendations of the CDC, the Ohio Health Department, and other officials as information becomes available.
