LOVELAND, OH (August 19, 2020) — Luxury vacation condos are now available for short-term rental in Loveland, Ohio. The two contemporary, fully-equipped condo homes in Historic Downtown Loveland offer luxurious living in a completely renovated 19th Century home at 514 W. Loveland Avenue.

These beautifully renovated “vacation condos” sit in the heart of Historic Downtown Loveland.  Built around 1890, this home has seen a lot of changes.  Visitors to Loveland will have a unique lodging option previously unavailable. Derek & Jessica Tye are the owners with the vision to restore and update this property while keeping its historic charm. The Tye’s learned there was a point in history when the single home was converted to a two-family. They decided to keep it that way adding two additional short-term rental options for visitors. They compare it to the cozy comfort of a bed and breakfast, without the breakfast.

It seems like people are looking for more authentic local lodging experiences instead of cookie cutter hotel options,” said Derek Tye. “Now people can ‘Stay and Play’ in Loveland, which is our company tagline.”

During 2020, the Tye’s had the entire building remodeled with a personal loving touch. They added new HVAC, paint, windows, kitchens (fully stocked), appliances, bathrooms, lighting, flooring, all new furnishings and even laundry. The first floor has the original 9’ ceilings and features two bedrooms. A private entrance and stairway leads to the second floor one-bedroom unit.

“We’ve even had people rent both units; the 2-bedroom on the main floor and the 1-bedroom upstairs for a larger family,” said Jessica Tye. “We have an interior door that is locked from both sides like a tandem hotel room so no one has to go outside to access both units.”

The outdoor area includes two covered porches and a deck. With so many fun active lifestyle options in Historic Loveland; like hiking, biking, canoeing or kayaking on the Scenic Little Miami River Trail, to visiting the boutiques, shops, or dining at one of the many locally owned eateries, these two short-term rental condos offer a distinctive lodging option within walking distance of Historic Downtown Loveland for out-of-towners and staycationers.

“We have really enjoyed introducing Loveland to many tourists and out of state travelers,” said Jessica Tye. “They find out about us through Airbnb, VRBO and through Google.  Most of our clients book directly with us for their stays.  Once here, they love the small town feel and access to all that Greater Cincinnati has to offer as well.”

Derek and Jessica have lived their entire lives in the Eastern suburbs of Greater Cincinnati and currently reside on Branch Hill Estate -a farm located on Branch Hill-Guinea Pike. All the things that make Loveland a great place to live, work, and play attracted the Tye’s to the area. They quickly learned Loveland also offers a unique niche market for “fully-furnished short-term vacation homes”. Their Branch Hill Estate property includes two additional homes available as short-term rentals there. Their rental properties also include a trailside cottage along the Scenic Little Miami River. The Lofts at 514 West make five (5) total rental options all within a half-mile of the Scenic Little Miami River Trail (aka Loveland Bike Trail) offered by the Tye’s.

“We have been doing this for about 3 years in the area and are seeing repeat visitors too,” Jessica said.

“We have enjoyed hosting many local ‘staycationers’ since the pandemic started this year. Some people have not wanted to go out of state to travel for vacation and have opted for local options instead.”

A walk through both units will leave any potential guest impressed with the attention to detail Jessica put into each unit. Yes, she is the one responsible for the interior design features. The Tye’s didn’t miss a beat including two new Weber Gas Grills, utensils, wine glasses, plates, silverware, coffee machine, luxury bedding, quality furniture, smart TV’s, WiFi, patio furniture, fire pit and chairs and. . . you name it, Jessica or Derek probably thought of it.

“Since the home is just two blocks from all the popular restaurants, shopping, bars, ice cream shops, parks, the river and the BIKE TRAIL, most people ditch the car and bike or walk to everything instead,” said Jessica. “ Imagine how fun this could be with your sweetheart or family/friends!  You can just bring your overnight bag and show up to relax. This place is really well equipped!
