It’s official: ‘Season of Love’ arrives in Loveland

LOVELAND, OH (January 5, 2022) – Love will be in the air this Saturday in Loveland as the annual chamber Valentine program will officially starts the season of love in Loveland.

This year’s Valentine program will kick-off officially at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, at Sweetheart Alley on the Loveland Bike Trail. The 2022 kick-off ceremony will include a welcome and congratulations for 2021-22 Valentine Lady Jeannie Shumaker from the Valentine Ladies, Loveland Chamber representatives, and representatives of Loveland City Council. In a break from the normal, Shumaker was named Valentine Lady for both 2021 and 2022 at this time one year ago due to the COVID restrictions. Here’s what she said about the honor of being named a Loveland Valentine Lady one year ago:

“The fact that I grew up here and I know all these ladies. This is my city. It’s pretty neat to be able to say I’m a Valentine Lady from this city.” – Jeannie Shumaker, 2021-22 Valentine Lady.

Valentine Card artist for 2022  Nancy Sullivan will also be introduced and congratulated during the ceremonies Saturday. The public is invited to join in the celebration along the beautiful Sweetheart Alley displaying the Valentine Lady honor wall on the Scenic Little Miami River Trail (aka Loveland Bike Trail near Jackson Street Market).
