A clean sweep for Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, and Golf Tuesday

LOVELAND, OH (September 2, 2020) – It took a come-from-behind road win for the boys soccer to complete a winning sweep for Tiger sports to open the month of September for LHS Athletics
The Boys Soccer team travelled to LaSalle Tuesday and needed a comeback to defeat the Lancers 3-2 and remain undefeated 2-0-1 so far this year. They travel to Turpin this Thursday.
The Lady Tigers Soccer team played host to Turpin and recorded a 2-0 shutout win over the visiting Spartans. Lady Tigers stand at 3-0 and will host Milford next Tuesday, September 8.
The Boys Golf team beat Kings by 11 strokes 164-175 on the course at Rivers Bend Tuesday.
Girls Tennis blanked West Clermont 5-0 on the home courts at LHS.
Rounding out the winning day for the Tigers, the Girls Volleyball team defeated Winton Woods three straight matches to raise their undefeated season record to 3-0.
Coming up: The Loveland Invitational Cross Country Meet (Boys & Girls) is this Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Home of The Brave Park. The Girls team is ranked 4th in the pre-season coaches poll. This past week the girls team won the Buckeye Sunset Quad meet held at Loveland HS, defeating 3 teams that made it to Regionals last year, including Ohio State XC Meet runners-up, Lakota East. This past Friday night, the Loveland girls won the Moeller Primetime Cross Country Invitational at Christ’s Church in Mason for the first time, beating a very talented #5 ranked Mason. Our top runner, junior Emmy Sager won the meet. The Loveland Boys team won the Buckeye Quad and finished 4th at the Moeller Primetime Invitational with Ryan Chevalier finishing 3rd for LHS as top finisher.
