LSC Creative Arts Scholarship will recognize

a talented local high school senior

LOVELAND, OH (January 12, 2021)  – Once again, the Loveland Stage Company will award a talented local high school senior with a $1,000 scholarship.

Every year the Loveland Stage Company recognizes a graduating high school student with its Creative Arts Scholarship. This year the LSC scholarship will award the sum of $1,000 to the selected student. Qualified candidates for the scholarship must be a graduating student residing in the Loveland City School District and attend Loveland High School. (Note: Children of a LSC member in good standing are also eligible for the scholarship award.) The scholarship award money is intended for use of the student toward college or university tuition, room & board, or required text books. 

The Loveland Stage Company scholarship is one part of a continuing effort by the stage company to encourage and support young local talent. For that reason, LSC requires prospective scholarship candidates be planning to further their education in the field of Creative Arts.

The Loveland Stage Company allows  the scholarship winner to choosse from a list of creative art studies which is not limited to, but includes: art, music, theater, photography, film, dance, and majors that support these studies. 

Applications are available on the Loveland Stage Company website and are due no later than Sunday March 14, 2021. Interested students should submit examples of their talent in their chosen field with  a high school transcript demonstrating their ability to succeed academically as part of the application process.
