Girls host Walnut Hills tonight; boys visit Anderson

LOVELAND, OH (October 6, 2020 – Soccer has been a shining bright spot on the Loveland High School Fall Sports landscape this season. The Lady Tigers remain undefeated in conference play and overall while the Tiger Men have taken only one loss overall; that came in conference play.

The Lady Tigers will carry a Eastern Cincinnati Conference best 5-0-1 record into action tonight against the Walnut Hills Eagles who currently sit at 1-2-1 in ECC action.
The Tigers are 9-0-3 after 12 matches and will play again Wednesday evening at Hamilton-Badin. The back-to-back matches both begin at 7 p.m.

The Tiger Men travel to the east side of town to visit Anderson tonight. Action begins at 7 p.m. Loveland has just one defeat in ECC action with a conference record of 4-1-0 while Anderson likewise has suffered only one conference loss, but carries a 5-1-0 record into tonight’s match-up. Loveland is 8-1-2 overall; while Anderson is 8-2-2 overall.
The Tiger Men will host Walnut Hills Thursday at 7 p.m and are home again to close out the week on Saturday, October 10, vs. Winton Woods at 7 p.m.

RECENT RESULTS:
Loveland Lady Tigers defeated Winton Woods 5-0 last Tuesday before playing to a 0-0 draw with Alter the following evening on Wednesday.
The Tiger Men defeated Moeller 4-0 at home last Thursday.

TIGER TRACKS:
Girls Tennis: Loveland defeated Walnut Hills 4-1 Thursday, September 30, to close out the fall tennis season with a conference record of 6-2 while going 14-4 overall.
Girls Volleyball: Loveland visits Lebanon tonight (Tue. 10/6) and hosts Anderson Thursday, 10/8. Both matches start at 6:30 p.m. They’re 8-6 in conference play and 10-7 overall for the season.
Cross Country: Boys and Girls teams are scheduled for Kings Duals Meet this Saturday, October 10, in a final tune-up for the ECC Championship Saturday, October 17, at Home of the Brave Park in Symmes Township.
Football: Football playoffs start this Friday. The Tigers are seeded #18 and will travel to Little Miami (seeded #15) Friday, October 9, for the first round game against the Panthers. Kick off will be at 7 p.m.
The winner goes to LaSalle to take on the Lancers the following week.
