LCSD Board of Education set for regular scheduled meeting Tuesday, June 23

LOVELAND, OH (June 19, 2020) – Loveland City School District released a reminder today announcing the upcoming Board of Education regular scheduled work session meeting.

In a statement sent out late Friday morning, June 19th, Loveland Ciy School District (LCSD) Treasurer/CFO Kevin Hawley reminded the community  of the Board of Education regular scheduled meeting next Tuesday, June 23, 2020. The LCSD board will hold its already scheduled regular meeting at 6 p.m. virtually per HB197.

As always the link for the meeting will be available in advance of the meeting on the district’s website lovelandschools.org/BoardofEducation.aspx.    

NOTE: The LCSD Board of Education recently appointed and welcomed two new members to serve on the board through December 31, 2021. They are Kevin Dougherty and Dr. Eric Schwestschenau. Here are the rules for public participation as published on the Loveland Schools website: 

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Due to COVID-19, Loveland City School District (LCSD) Board of Education meetings are not currently held in person but are live-streamed to provide public viewing. 
When meetings are available to the public in person, the Board allows for public participation at the beginning of each of the regularly scheduled business meetings. The Board is committed to hearing from the public and continues to welcome input through email.

Public participation while meetings are not open for the public to attend: The Board requests that
you email your input to the Board of Education (board@lovelandschools.org). If you wish to have
your input read at the beginning of the meeting during public participation, the Board must have
received it by 4:00 p.m. on the date of the meeting and you must indicate that you wish to have the
statement read aloud. Your statement should not be longer than three minutes, should not reference
names of employees or students of the district, and should not include any offensive comments or
language. Statements will be read in the order in which they are received, for a total of no more than
30 minutes. All statements will be available to all Board of Education members and those not fitting
within the 30-minute limitation will be noted as having been received. All members of the public
submitting statements will have their names recorded in the public participation section of the
minutes of the meeting.
