Loveland School District week in review

LOVELAND SCHOOLS: Tiger Talk

LOVELAND, OH (April 8, 2022) – Here is the news from Loveland Schools the first week back following Spring Break.

Mike Broadwater, Superintendent, Loveland City School District (Provided)

Superintendent’s Message

Loveland Tiger Families,

We’re back from Spring Break and, believe it or not, in the home stretch of the school year! These next few weeks will fly by for our students, especially our seniors as they look forward to their next adventures. I know it’s been a busy week for many of our students as they tackle testing. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for the hard work that has gotten us to this point in the year.

Thursday this week was a special day at Loveland High School – Fine Arts Signing Day! It was great to see some of our students honored and their families get a chance to celebrate their success. I was also impressed by the stories our teachers told about the dedication and talent each of these students has demonstrated during their time in Loveland. I can’t wait to see what each of them accomplishes in the years ahead!

  • Isabel Abrinica will be attending Miami University for Emerging Technology and Business Design

  • Alton French will be attending the Cleveland Institute of Music for Bassoon Performance

  • Aidan McCracken will be attending Otterbein University for Acting and Theater

  • Grace Nunn will be attending the University of Cincinnati-DAAP for Communication Design

  • Elisabeth O’Neill will be attending Ohio University School of Theatre for Production Design & Technology

  • Abby Richardson will be attending Kent State University for Fashion Design and Merchandising

  • Haley Zuch will be attending the University of Cincinnati-DAAP for Fine Art and Digital Media

We have been trying to do more this year to recognize the important role that the Arts play for our students. We created the Superintendent’s Art Gallery in the Central Office, to show off some student artwork. I’ve attended shows and concerts and even got a chance to see our Show Choir compete in the national competition in Nashville. I knew our students were talented, I just didn’t know they were THAT talented. The amount of time and effort these students and staff put in is simply amazing. We are fortunate to have great offerings and great staff here to help students explore these talents that can take them on to great careers.

Go Tigers!
