Loveland Schools Superintendent Brad Neavin has been actively engaged in meeting with a wide cross-section of people in the Loveland community during several “coffees” since assuming the role of Superintendent earlier this year.

As a result of those discussions, several members of the community were invited to join the LCSD community advisory board. He has received feedback in the form aof responses from at least a dozen of those 20 invitations sent out.  Neavin indicated a likelihood he will share that feedback with members of the board during the meeting Tuesday, March 16.

“It is a strong community cross section which came out of “coffees” with the community,” said Neavin. “About a dozen positive responses so far. We targeted 10-15, so we are in good shape.”

Neavin and the Loveland School Board are working together to engage the community in the search and selection process for the new LCSD Superintendent. Inviting people to join and participate in that search as part of a Community Advisory Board is just one piece of the search puzzle.
