LOVELAND, OH (June 21, 2023) – In an news release issued earlier today, Loveland City School District (LCSD) announced it is beginning the search for the next great leader of the Loveland Early Childhood Center. 

Here is the text from the LCSD News Release issued Wednesday, June 21, 2023: 

Current principal Sara Gehring is leaving the district for a new position in Madeira City Schools.

“Loveland Early Childhood Center helps our youngest students get their start, and Sara has done a fantastic job leading the building. I want to thank her for her hard work and dedication to Loveland.” – Superintendent Mike Broadwater

Gehring joined Loveland City School District in 2018 as assistant principal of Loveland Middle School before taking the position of principal of Loveland Early Childhood Center in 2021. She will join Madeira City School District as the assistant principal of Madeira Elementary.

“These last two years have been some of the best of my career, and the LECC team is a special and strong group of educators who rise up each day to do what is best for kids,” said Gerhing. “This is a bittersweet moment because I’ll miss Loveland, yet I’m excited to become the assistant principal of Madeira Elementary.”

The search will begin immediately for the next principal of the Loveland Early Childhood Center. The campus is home to Loveland’s preschool and kindergarten programs.

“The next principal of LECC will be an educational leader who can add to our district’s success and build great relationships with our students, families, staff, and community,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
