District Receives Auditor of State Award

LOVELAND, OH (April 21, 2020) – Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber has announced that the Loveland City School District (LCSD) has received the Auditor of State Award for Fiscal Year ’19.

he auditor’s office presents the award to local government entities and school districts with a “clean” audit report. Specific criteria to receive the award include no findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, questioned costs, no comments related to ethics referrals, bank reconciliation issues, public meetings or public records issues.
“The Treasurer’s office takes its responsibility for accurate record keeping, compliance, and fiscal management very seriously,” said LCSD Treasurer/CFO Kevin Hawley. “This is a hard-earned award that would not have been possible without the diligent work of all members on our team and staff throughout the district.”

The school district has received the Auditor of State award annually for the past five years. The official audit report can be found on the Auditor of State website.
