The meeting, scheduled to be held in the Council Chamber of Loveland City Hall, is for council to review a request by the City Manager, to schedule a public hearing for October 13, 2020, to consider the sale of city property. The property proposed for sale is just under 10 acres (9.8389 acres) of land owned by the city located on Butterworth Road off of State Route 48 in Warren County.

The Campbell Berling Development Company is the proposed purchaser of the property. Their plan for the property is for single-family residential development constructing up to 35 single homes using the neighboring property. City of Loveland Ordinances states: “Real property belonging to the City shall be sold or leased pursuant to an ordinance, passed by Council, authorizing such sale or lease after a public hearing and after a finding by the City Manager that such real property is no longer needed for municipal purposes.”

City Manager Dave Kennedy has recommended City of Loveland City Council authorize a public hearing for October 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. That is the date of the next regularly scheduled Loveland City Council Meeting.
