Tigers shutout the Spartans at Turpin Thursday evening to remain unbeaten for the season

LOVELAND, OH (September 4, 2020) – The Tigers travelled to Turpin Thursday for an ECC boys soccer matchup and raised their unbeaten record to 3-0-1 with a 3-0 shutout victory.

Tiger goals came from senior Kees Ciric, and juniors, Zach McHenry and Nick Williams. Sophomore Keeper Dylan Schwinn kept the Spartans scoreless with 5 saves on route to his first shutout of the season for the Tigers. The win gives Loveland a 1-0 record in ECC boys soccer action. Loveland Boys Soccer will host Milford next Thursday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m. at LHS.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS AT LOVELAND TONIGHT:

The Tigers Boys Varsity Football team hosts the West Clermont Wolves at Tiger Stadium tonight. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. It is game two of the 2020 high school football season for both teams. Something has to give with both teams seeking their first win of the season tonight. While the Tigers fell in their home opener last week 0-30 to the Turpin Spartans, the Wolves of West Clermont took a 21-13 loss in Lebanon as they open the season with two road games.

TIGER SPORTS NOTE: Don’t forget the Loveland XC Invitational this Saturday, September 5, at Home of the Brave Park. High School Races start at 7:30 a.m. Middle School Races start at 10:30 a.m. Organizers expect 1,600 runners to compete. For the sake of safety and health in this pandemic time, organizers are asking only parents of high school seniors plan to attend.
