LOVELAND, OH (January 31, 2025) – While Teresa and Rick Morgan are happily enjoying retirement (for now), the Wiley family: Luke and Melissa along with their four children, Madyson, Jake, Leah and Morgan are the new owners of the Loveland Dairy Whip (affectionately known as The LDW) and they are all systems go to launch the new ice cream season with the traditional LDW Opening Day Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2 p.m.

Luke Wiley and his wife Melissa along with their youngest daughter Morgan joined me live in studio while their oldest daughter Madyson joined us by phone from her home in Denver. Son Jake and middle daughter Leah were attending classes at U.C. and Miami University respectively. The Wiley’s purchase of Loveland Dairy Whip is quite a story and the family shares it with great excitement right here. So sit back and give a listen to the Wiley’s as they tell us how and why they are so excited to carry on all the traditions of serving up the best quality soft-serve ice cream around.
