Santa (and Mrs.) Claus are coming to town

By Chuck Gibson

LOVELAND, OH (November 28, 2023) – Christmas time has arrived and Santa Claus is coming to Loveland-town right on schedule.

David Terry was inspired to renew a Loveland Christmas Tradition with Santa Land and the Santa House (File photo Chuck Gibson)

David Terry, owner of RP Diamond and lifelong resident of Loveland, remembers the tradition of Santa Claus arriving in Loveland when he was a kid. Somehow that tradition disappeared, or at least changed, but those fond childhood memories inspired the return of Santa Land at Loveland Plaza. The old Christmas tradition is now a new Christmas tradition and it takes place this Saturday, December 2nd from noon to 4 p.m. right back at Loveland Plaza.

Here’s David Terry’s Santa Land story on Loveland Beacon Talks

Santa Claus is coming to town. He’ll come through Loveland as a very special passenger with the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department. He’ll be arriving at Loveland Plaza on a Fire Truck along with Mrs. Claus and a full scale escort of LSFD and Loveland Police. All the fun begins at 12-Noon and runs through 4 p.m. Bring your kids, your grandkids and the adult kids too. EVERYTHING is FREE to the public; treats, activities and visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Santa House promises fun for everyone. Santa Land is sure to make this Christmas tradition a favorite holiday memory for you and your family.

(NOTE: Run time is approximately 33:00 minutes)
