Annual Holiday Shopping event provides gifts for those in need

LOVELAND, OH (December 6, 2022) – Tis the season of giving and Loveland InterFaith Effort (LIFE) was truly in the spirit of giving Monday and Tuesday, December 5-6.

The Loveland organization well known for providing food and necessities for families in need throughout the year at the LIFE Food Pantry and other special programs held their annual Giving Shoppe this week. More than 235 families registered with LIFE were given the opportunity to do their holiday shopping for two days at the Charles Brigham Jr. Masonic Temple on N. Lebanon Road in Loveland. The building was turned into a holiday shopping department store filled with great gift items including clothing for boys, girls, men and women, toys for the kids, special gift cards for the teens and don’t forget the family pet. Shoppers were assisted by volunteer personal shoppers as they made their way through the aisles filled with great gifts – free for all!  When their shopping was done, there was plenty of gift wrapping supplies to complete the holiday gift giving experience

For some, the Giving Shoppe means the difference gifts or no gifts for the holiday.  Linda Bergholz, Executive Director of LIFE took time out to share more details about the LIFE of Giving Shoppe event in an audio interview with Loveland Beacon. She was joined by Peggy Goodwin during the interview to provide details of how many families they serve (235 +) and for how many years the Giving Shoppe has been providing Christmas  & holiday gift shopping for Loveland families in need
