LIFE Food Pantry will cut the ribbon at their new location on Loveland-Madeira Road at 4 p.m. today

 LOVELAND, OH (September 10, 2020) – The LIFE (Loveland InterFaith Effort) Food Pantry officially announced their move to a new location at 541 Loveland-Madeira Road (Near the Loveland Branch of the Public Library).

They plan to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 4:00  p.m. to mark the official move and opening of the new location. The move is being made in an effort to better serve the needs of the community. While the public is welcome to join in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, attendance is limited due to the COVID-19 restrictions for health and safety.

 LIFE Executive Director Linda Bergholz says the move is crucial for the Food Pantry to meet the growing demands during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic

LIFE Food Pantry is a Freestore Foodbank partner and provides food assistance throughout the Greater Loveland area. With the increased need resulting from the pandemic and generous support of businesses and the Loveland community, this new space will increase capacity and allow LIFE to serve more of the community in need.

 In a recent press release announcing the ribbon-cutting, LIFE cited several advantages offered by the new location:

  • Capacity to store and serve an increased amount of food and supplies
  • A more dignified experience for our clients
  • Capability to extend hours of operation
  • Space for our volunteers to stay safe by following social distancing regulations
  • Closer proximity to many of our clients
  • Adjacent outdoor area to host food drives
