Peters earned a stage win on the first day in the Pyrenees

INTERNATIONAL (September 5, 2020) – Nans Peters rode away from the leaders and made his way across the finish line at the end of a gruelling 4 hour ride in the mountains to claim his first Tour de France stage win.

Adam Yates retained the overall lead and will wear the Yellow Jersey for a fourth consecutive day Sunday. The Tour continues in the mountains Sunday before riders get their first official rest day on Monday. Primoz Roglic remains only 3 seconds behind Yates as he bids for a chance to wear the Yellow Jersey and take the overall race lead.
