Loveland could not stop the Kings scoring machine

LOVELAND, OH (October 3, 2020 – A tough season just got tougher for the Loveland Tiger football team Friday night at Kings High School as they allowed a season high 63 points falling by a final score of 63-32.
The Tigers overall record falls to 1-4 while they remain winless at 0-4 in Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) play.
Loveland ran into a buzz-saw as the Kings Knights piled up 42 points on 6 touchdowns to take a 42-0 lead into halftime. The Tigers got on the scoreboard in the third quarter, but the Knights added another TD to end the 3rd quarter with a 49-6 lead. Loveland added 26 points in the 4th quarter to give them 32 for the game, but again, Kings answered with two more touchdowns of their own completing the scoring for the night bringing the final score to 63-32.
The Knights gained a total of 25 first downs while amassing 464 total yards of offense – 214 in the air and 250 on the ground. Loveland totaled 19 first downs gaining 392 yards – 336 yards passing and only 56 yards running.

Lebanon over Little Miami 41-7
Walnut Hills fell at Middletown 33-26
Winton Woods defeated Turpin 33-13
Football playoffs start next Friday. The Tigers are seeded #18 and will travel to Little Miami (seeded #15) next Friday, October 9, to play the Panthers in the first round game. Kick off will be at 7 p.m. LaSalle High School Lancers await the winner the following week.
