LOVELAND, OH (May 24, 2021) – In Issue 2021-99 of Steve Kovacs Fun with Maps, we set sail for an Atlantic Island.

Time for Those Shorts!

Today is Bermuda Day!  It is celebrated with parades in Hamilton – no, not the one in Butler County, rather Bermuda’s capital.

It marks the unofficial day when one can set sail to the seas from Bermuda.

Also, it marks the traditional day when one can start wearing Bermuda Shorts as part of a business attire.

Here is Hondius’s map from 1633 of this tiny island nation in middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
