Diversity Advisory Board teams with Public Library to present Books Engaging Discussion (BED)

LOVELAND, OH (February 24, 2021) – The Loveland Diversity Advisory Board (LDAB) together with the Loveland Branch of the Public Library will host a BEDtime Book Talk on Monday, March 8, from 7-7:30 p.m.
Books Engaging Discussion (BED) BEDtime books will center on diverse characters and underrepresented experiences. The featured book for discussion in March is “Hair Love” by Matthew Cherry highlighting the monthly theme “celebrating self.”
The talks are targeted for students from Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) and Loveland Primary School (LPS), but older students are welcome and may find the books and discussion beneficial as well. The intent of the BEDtime Book Talks is to inspire discussion about topics such as identity, culture, and different abilities among families.
