Put on your creative “love” hat

LOVELAND, OH (September 11, 2025) – Shoot, summer has not officially ended (September 21st is the last full day of summer officially), and we’re still 45 days away from Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving Day, the whole Christmas season and ringing in the New Year before most outside of Loveland, Ohio will think of Valentine’s Day.

But this is truly the land of love, Loveland, Ohio; where there really is “nothing in this world so sweet as love”, or at least nothing as sweet as our Loveland Valentine Ladies and the entire Loveland Valentine Lady program. That brings us to the subject of this story: the Valentine Card Design. We don’t know what it will look like, or who will submit the winning design and be our Valentine Card Artist this year. We do know it is time for you to get creative and submit your design. Here’s all you need to know, and do:

For the Annual Valentine Card Design

• Original artwork may be submitted by any Little Miami River Chamber Alliance Member, resident of the Loveland School District, or those who work in the Loveland area.
• Artwork must reflect or incorporate the theme: “Love is . . . .” and must also include (or provide space for) the phrase, “There is nothing in this world so sweet as love.” One-color, two-color and full-color entries are acceptable.
• Artwork must be flat (two-dimensional) and reduce proportionately to fit within a 5 inch by 3 ¾ inch space, the size of the printed Valentine’s Day cards.
• Submission deadline is November 14, 2025. All entries must be submitted to the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance at 514 W. Loveland Ave, Loveland, OH 45140 or https://lmrchamberalliance.org/home/
• The winner will receive design credit on the back of the 2026 Valentine’s Day cards, recognition at the Valentine Kick off, other local recognition, media recognition and two complimentary invitations to the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance Annual Valentine Breakfast.

Now, get out your easel, paint brushes, drawing pencils and of course your artists smock and get to work. Who knows, you may just be the designer of the 2026 Loveland Valentine Card. Good luck!
