LCSD Transportation Department, Kroger and LIFE Food Pantry team up to host this one-day food drive this Sunday, May 17th

LOVELAND, OH (May 13, 2026) – The Loveland City School District Transportation Department is teaming up with Kroger, LIFE Food Pantry, and the community for this year’s Stuff the Bus food drive, a one-day effort at two local Kroger stores to ensure children have access to nutritious food throughout the summer months.

The Loveland City School District Transportation Department, Kroger, and LIFE Food Pantry Host “Stuff the Bus” to support local families during the summer. It is one of the biggest food drives of the year for LIFE Food Pantry .
On May 17th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, volunteers will collect donations to stuff the bus at two Kroger partner locations:
- Loveland Kroger – 800 Loveland Madeira Road
- Miami Township Kroger – 6388 Branch Hill Guinea Pike

It’s not a new partnership. The Loveland City School District Transportation Department and the bus drivers have been integral in past years with the “Stuff the Bus” food drive campaigns. It has been very successful and an important part of the LIFE Food Pantry food drives annually.
“One of our biggest food drives of the year is on Sunday,” said Carol Rountree, Executive Director for LIFE Food Pantry. “Thank you. I hope you can stop by.”
Community members are encouraged to donate kid-friendly, shelf-stable items such as:
- Mac & Cheese
- Tuna or chicken (cans or pouches)
Canned fruit - 100% fruit juice (boxes or plastic bottles)
Cereal - Instant oatmeal packets
- Beef jerky or meat sticks
- Peanuts or trail mix
- Granola, protein, or cereal bars
Foods your kids enjoy.
All donated items will go directly to LIFE Food Pantry, where pantry families will receive the food as part of ongoing efforts to support children while school is out.
