Well its back and the smells are free! The St. Columban Boosters are once again sponsoring the St. Columban fish fry.  It happens EVERY Friday (February 28-April 3) during Lent from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the St. Columban cafeteria.

The St. Columban Fish Fry Friday features:  Fried fish dinners, Shrimp wraps, fish tacos, pizza, gourmet salad, and their “famous” award-winning salmon dinners. They just can’t say enough about the delicious fries!

What’s new you ask?

St. Columban is happy to announce their newest additions to the Fish Fry Friday: BEER BATTERED COD and SARATOGA CHIPS BASKET! Beer and seltzers are available for the adults. They also offer kids meals.  They don’t stop there. Do you need a little dessert? You’ll want to check out the homemade bake sale items.

Fish Fry Friday returns to St. Columban Cafeteria beginning Friday, February 28 (Provided)

Can’t stay? Just drive-thru, the “famous” St. Columban drive-thru carryout and pick up dinner on your way home. This fundraiser helps pay for more than $40,000 they spend to rent outside gym time, maintenance of the football field, 8th grade Athletic scholarships, and multiple other expenses; including a new gym floor installed last year and new logo seats for the gym!

Editor’s Note:  Wait! There’s more. Stop in for Pancake Supper, Tuesday, February 25th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.

Fr. Larry and the staff will be serving pancakes along with “special toppings” such as blueberries, strawberries, and chocolate chips!

Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, or Mardi Gras is celebrated the day before Lent begins. Since the custom was to abstain during Lent from meat, eggs, and dairy products, Shrove Tuesday was spent using up these products that were in the kitchen.

Stop in to enjoy all the pancakes you can eat and pick up some Mardi Gras beads and resources before Lent begins on Wednesday!

$6 per adult | $4 per child | Max of $20 for an entire family
