All set to lead with lower prices at the pump, but that lead got bumped when the gas prices jumped overnight Monday, May 18th as we head into the Memorial Day travel weekend and the start of summer. Art Jarvis was happy to move on to more interesting numbers coming from interest rates and tech stocks. 

Also noteworthy: Kevin Warsh is set to be sworn in as Chairman of the Federal Reserve this Friday, May 22nd while outgoing Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will remain seated on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
