Braves earn outstanding accolades in the regional competition

INDIAN HILL, OH (February 25, 2022) – The Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School students Daniel Choi, Joy On, and Ernesto Rodriguez-Cayro for an outstanding performance in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Regional Competition the weekend of February 12-13.

All three students have qualified to advance to the state competition.
“Regional competition was fierce with many schools entering a large number of students to compete,” said Indian Hill High School teacher Liz Imrie, who mentors the HOSA Club. “We are so incredibly proud of our HOSA Braves for their dedication and professionalism! All five of the students who competed at the regional level represented the Indian Hill School District well!”
This is the second year for the Indian Hill High School HOSA Club. According to HOSA, the goal of the organization is to empower members to, “become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration and experience.”
Indian Hill High School individual HOSA Regional Competition awards included:
- Daniel Choi: Pathophysiology, Third Place
- Joy On: Medical Spelling, Second Place
- Ernesto Rodriguez-Cayro: Pharmacy Science, Second Place
The HOSA State Competition will be held in Columbus on March 24-25.
