Senior Meghan O’Brien commits to continuing both her academic and athletic career in college

INDIAN HILL, OH (May 13, 2021) – Student-athlete Meghan O’Brien took center stage at Indian Hill High School (IHHS) Gym for a celebration Thursday, May 13 as the 17th Brave this school year to commit to continue both her academic and athletic career beyond high school during a college signing ceremony.

O’Brien was joined by her family as she signed her commitment to play soccer for Georgia Southern University in the fall.

“Meghan joins an elite number of student-athletes – only six percent in the nation – who earn the opportunity to take their athletic careers to the next level,” said IHHS Athletic Director Brian Phelps. “We are incredibly proud of Megan, and we can’t wait to see all she will accomplish at Georgia Southern University.”
