On this Loveland Beacon Talks Podcast Chris Wojnicz joins us for an update on progress toward the goal of water treatment to supply safe quality water to Loveland residents.
Much has been accomplished since Loveland Beacon published “There’s Something in the Water” 17 months ago in August-2024 expressing concerns about contaminants in the Loveland water supply and pointing to US EPA & Ohio EPA water quality standards being set for the future.

Chris Wojnicz, Assistant City Manager for Loveland was then, and is now directly at the center of testing, designing, developing plans, securing funding for and ultimately construction of water treatment to meet standards by the year 2029. He is first to admit much still needs to happen even before construction/installation begins.
The city has already received approval of the initial application for engineering and planning which provides nearly $6 million dollars in federal and state grants to continue progress toward final plans and then construction. Chris shares details of exactly where the project stands today and what is next toward achieving compliance with EPA water quality standards for the future of the water supplying Loveland residents.
