Hoxworth Blood Center & Crossroads Team Up For Community Blood Drives

CINCINNATI, OH (October 3, 2020) – Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati is teaming up once again with Crossroads Church for a series of community blood drives to support the Tri-State blood supply.
“We couldn’t be more appreciative of Crossroads Church opening their space to us once again to help save the lives of our neighbors,” said Alecia Lipton, Director of Public Relations for Hoxworth. “The continued support of Crossroads Church in recent months has given us the opportunity to collect much needed units of red blood cells for surgeries, cancer patients, and trauma victims right here in the Tri-state area.”
Blood drives will be held at the following Crossroads locations:
Crossroads Oakley (3500 Madison Road) – Friday, October 16th and Monday, October 19th
Crossroads East Side (4450 Eastgate S Dr.) – Monday, October 5th and Friday, October 9th
Crossroads West Side (8575 Bridgetown Road) – Tuesday, October 13th
Crossroads Mason (990 Reading Road) – Friday, October 9th
Crossroads Florence (828 Heights Blvd) – Tuesday, October 13th
Hoxworth will be following social distancing guidelines and taking extra safety precautions to protect the health and wellness of both donors and staff, including changing gloves between donors and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Masks are required per local guidelines.
