Great for kids summer activity: supports LIFE Back to School in August

LOVELAND, OH (June 19, 2025) – LIFE Food Pantry is already collecting “new & gently used” books of all varieties to encourage reading as a family activity.

School’s out for summer and kids are always looking for something to do – as if there’s not enough to keep them entertained and busy. Still, it’s true all parents face the challenge of planning summer fun and safe activities for the kids. This summer, as you seek the perfect plan for neighborhood gatherings, LIFE says: think about Hosting a Book Drive for the Life Back to School Fair in early August. 

Before COVID, LIFE had a popular section in the Back to School Fair where children AND parents could select books to call their own.  It’s BACK this year! Once again LIFE is working to make this happen. They just need BOOKS!

Please encourage your neighbors to clean out their bookshelves for books to donate, or consider providing gift cards to local book stores. 

All items can be dropped off at LIFE Food Pantry, 677 Loveland-Maderia Rd anytime we are open, or dropped into the donation box out front.  A volunteer is available to pick-up larger quantities at your convenience.  For more information contact Terri Carter, call/text: 513-295-4778 or email:  terri.lifefoodpantry@gmail.com.

  • provide gift certificates to local book stores,
  • organize a neighborhood, book club or church book drive!

Books can be dropped off at LIFE FOOD PANTRY: 677 Loveland-Madeira Rd. (next door to ACE Hardware) anytime we are open, or leave books in the donation box out front.
