One of the best, if not the best jazz musician and vocalist was born on August 4, 1901 in the Big Easy.

Louis Armstrong.

He lived a full and colorful life and created magic with his trumpet and voice.

Some of his memorable recordings include:  Hello Dolly, What a Wonderful World, When the Saints Go Marching In, Ain’t Misbahavin’ and many more.
