LOVELAND, OH (November 2, 2023) – Only 5 days remain before voting ends on Ohio Ballot Issue 1 Tuesday, November 7th. The issue remains hotly contested.

Rachel Citak, attorney and President of Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati speaks to the misinformation about the “broad-sweeping” amendment which uses vague language to mask law which goes beyond simply allowing abortion – even full term pregnancy abortions – to protecting “treating physicians (abortionists) from any burden hindering their ability to provide and profit from performing abortions in Ohio. Citak says the proposed amendment stretches to essentially denying rights of parents to provide guidance to young children facing life-changing decisions by making it Ohio constitutional law that parents do not have to be informed. A majority yes vote would make this “reproductive rights” amendment a part of the Constitution of the State of Ohio.

Here is RACHEL CITAK on Loveland Beacon Talks discussing why a NO vote on Ohio Issue 1 is the right choice for reproductive care for Ohio families.
Rachel makes clear procedures for life and health of the mother, including miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy care, have always been legal in Ohio and always will be. She also presents facts about how the proposed law will damage families through restrictions of parental rights and information.
THIS ISSUE, IF PASSED, WILL BECOME CONSTITUTIONAL LAW IN THE STATE OF OHIO. MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE.
