In this edition of her “Poet’s Corner”, our Poet Laureate introduces us to the “changes” that come with aging. (Shh, don’t tell her I used the word aging…)
Instead of sharing the usual background story about what inspired her to pen this poetic piece, Susan said: “The poem speaks for itself.” I offered to make something up, but her golden smile turned a little crooked in response to my generous offer to create some potentially entertaining fiction. Thus, what you see here is exactly what the fine lady Susan F. Adams wrote. I’ll only add this: you ought to hear her recite these poetic gems. She does it from memory and you can see the joy on her face every time.
