Former LHS Tiger now NFL fullback with Carolina Panthers

LOVELAND, OH (November 4, 2022) – Giovanni Ricci is coming home to play in Cincinnati for the first time since his final high school football game at Loveland High School. This time he’ll be wearing the #45 uniform of NFL’s Carolina Panthers.

Ricci took time out on Friday to talk about coming home to play against the Bengals. He shared his thoughts on the Panthers season so far; including suffering a tough loss in OT versus the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Giovanni also talked about the win over Tampa Bay and Tom Brady, going through an in-season coaching change, and playing in the backfield with Christian McCaffrey before he was traded to San Francisco. Best of all, he’s happy to be coming home to play in front of his family, friends and extended Loveland family – even if it is against the Bengals.
