By Chuck Gibson

LOVELAND, OH (July 3, 2024) – It’s been 31 years for Teresa (Flint) Morgan and her husband Rick Morgan, but the two have decided it is time to retire from the family business. It just happens that family business is a Loveland Landmark a true Icon of this land of love: The Loveland Dairy Whip is a tradition as great as any, loved by many, but now the LDW is FOR SALE!

Teresa and Rick Morgan made the announcement in a statement issued by email from Rick Morgan late this afternoon, Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Here is the text of that email statement:

Loveland, OH – July 3rd, 2024

After Thiry-One years the Morgan’s are Retiring and selling their family-owned business

After thirty-one years, Teresa and Rick Morgan have decided to retire and put their business up for sale.  Teresa has been involved with the business since 1972 when her parents Jim and Marian Flint purchased the business (she was 11).  The family-owned business has given two generations of Flint’s/Morgan’s a place to call home, where they have had many loyal customers and developed many friendships over the years.  They will all be missed.  Unfortunately, the next Morgan generation is not interested in carrying on the ice cream tradition.  So, we are hopeful a family will be interested in starting their new family tradition by purchasing the Dairy Whip.

If interested in purchasing, please contact Britney Frietch @ BF Realty.  513-258-1003
