Evagoras Papasavvas wins at “home” on the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

LOVELAND, OH (June 15, 2026) – It was indeed “Home, Sweet Home” for Evagoras Papasavvas as he raced the Crosslink Motorsports #71 to victory Sunday leading all 19 laps and taking the checkered flag for the P1 finish in the FR Americas race on the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course.

Evagoras shares how much it means winning at home in front of family on this Tracking EP Racing Sports Podcast on Loveland Beacon.   

The win in the second race Sunday followed his P2 finish in the first race Saturday adding 43 points to his Driver Championship season point total giving him 118.5 points with his next closest competitor at less than 90 points total.  With the P1 finish Sunday, Evagoras has now won a race at all three Formula Regional Americas race events in this 2026 championship racing season.  Wins at NOLA in April, and at Road America in May and at Mid-Ohio this past weekend combined with P2 finishes at Road America and Mid-Ohio have place Papasavvas on the podium five times in three race weekends. 

He heads to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend looking to keep the winning streak alive and adding to his driver championship points lead during the three scheduled FRAmericas races there.

This is episode #6 of the 2026 racing season.
