The Indy race car driver from Loveland opens his 2025 racing season in the Grand Prix of Alabama

LOVELAND, OH (May 2, 2025) – Finally! It is “Go Time” for Evagoras Papasavvas making his INDY NXT racing debut in the Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama this Sunday, May 4.

The 17-year-old race driver from Loveland, Ohio shares his story here on this Tracking Evagoras Papasavvas racing Sports Special presented by Loveland Beacon Talks.

Evagoras tells us about his first experience in the seat of an INDY NXT car during a recent test session at Mid Ohio Sports Car course. It was an eye-opening performance not only for Papasavvas, but for the HMD Motorsports team and other INDY NXT drivers who witnessed his first time in the INDY NXT car. He also shares what is coming up as he makes his debut on the INDY NXT racing circuit this weekend culminating with the Grand Prix of Alabama race on Sunday, May 4.
