The highlights of 2025 INDY NXT racing and a focus on the future

LOVELAND, OH (September 12, 2025) – A challenging yet successful INDY NXT season of racing comes to a close for race driver Evagoras Papasavvas.

The 2025 Indy NXT racing season came to a close in Nashville on August 31st with HMD Motorsports driver Evagoras Papasavvas in the race paddock and not behind the wheel. He raced only five races this season, but was a part of the HMD team effort every racing weekend all season long. It was a planned partial season as Papasavvas leapfrogged the USF Pro series making the jump to INDY NXT just one step below the opportunity to race INDY NTT and the Indianapolis 500! The 17-year-old Loveland High School senior and accomplished Indy Car race driver still made a strong impression with his limited starts behind the wheel of the HMD Motorsports #24 including a P2 finish in his debut race at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama back in early May. At the end of the season, he was not qualified for the driver championship due to the limited starts, but in his five races he earned points placing him in the Top 10 among drivers at that time.
Now Evagoras Papasavvas joins us on this Sports Special Podcast from Loveland Beacon Talks to share a look back at the highlights of his INDY NXT 2025 Racing Season with the HMD Motorsports Team. He also gives us a little peek into his focus on a full season of INDY NXT racing in 2026. There is no doubt Evagoras is already missing being in that drivers seat racing for a spot on the podium and a driver championship. At the same time, he’s grateful and thankful to God, his family and all of the HMD team for the opportunity and experience gained in 2025.
