LOVELAND, OH (May 20, 2026) – It was a great weekend of racing for LHS Class of 2026 Graduate Evagoras Papasavvas who claimed his 2nd victory along with a P2 finish and three pole position starts in the Formula Regional Americas Championship racing series at Road America in Wisconsin while his high school classmates celebrated graduation ceremonies at Cintas Center in Cincinnati.

Papasavvas may not have put on the cap-n-gown and received his Loveland High School diploma on the Cintas Center stage Sunday, but he certainly earned center stage trackside at Road America in Wisconsin, claiming a P2 finish and a place on the podium in Race 1 Saturday. 

He followed that up with a P1 victory and a place at the top of the podium in Race 2 Sunday before rain cancelled the third and final race of the weekend Formula Regional Americas championship racing event.

The three pole positions, P2 and his 2nd series victory vaulted him to the top of the FRA driver championship standings. Despite a rain-shortened Race 2 Sunday and only half points awarded, Papasavvas earned 30.5 points giving him 75.5 points and placing him 12.5 points ahead of second place driver Cooper Shipman who has 63 points after the first five races of the FRA Championship racing season. Next up on the FRA racing schedule is Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course June 11-14. Papasavvas hopes to be back in the driver’s seat of the Crosslink Motorsports #71 as he continues his quest for the driver’s championship and lifting the Crosslink Motorsports team, currently 2nd in team standings, to a team championship for this FRA 2026 racing season. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is virtually the home track for this Loveland, Ohio native.
