The Dragonfly Foundation Recently Announced the Appointment of Jack Brendamour (Junk King CEO) to Its Board

CINCINNATI, OH (October, 19, 2020) – The Dragonfly Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer patients and their families, announced the appointment of Jack Brendamour to its Board at its meeting on Friday, August 28.

Brendamour is CEO of Junk King and a Real Estate Agent with Comey & Shepherd Realtors.

“We are honored to have Jack serve on our Board,” said Dragonfly Foundation Board President Laurel Markley. “His drive, creativity, and connections will enhance our Board and help make the Foundation even better.”

Brendamour has served in many roles at Junk King throughout his career, including General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and currently CEO. Junk King is committed to giving back to the community, donating items to local non-profits, recycling items to keep them out of the landfill, and exhibiting a commitment to eco-friendly methods of junk removal.

“Becoming involved with The Dragonfly Foundation was a calling for me from the moment I learned about the organization.  The Families going through their incredibly difficult journey’s need and deserve my succor on every level possible,” said Brendamour. “Having twin infants with a toddler at home really helped me process the incredible emotional, financial and physical struggles that Dragonfly Families have to overcome. Even though my plate was 

already full with my personal life as well as running my quickly growing business Junk King, I immediately knew deep down that I wanted, and was willing, to find additional time to help Dragonfly in the way that I knew I was capable.  The staff at the Foundation is full of people with energy of love and compassion and I share their passion.  Becoming a Board Member and bringing my resources in to assist is an honor to me.” 

Brendamour is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Management & Strategic Leadership. He’s also an Indian Hill High School alum. Brendamour lives in Loveland with his wife Julianne, his son and their twin daughters.
