LOVELAND, OH (October 23, 2020) – Loveland Cross Country Coach Steve Nester called the conference championship meet last Saturday “a tough day” despite second place finishes for both boys and girls varsity XC teams.

Nester was so disappointed in the results for his teams last week, he declined an interview with Loveland Beacon to review the day and give a peek ahead into the hopes for Loveland XC teams as they head into the postseason this Saturday.
A quick reminder of the good from last Saturday, Ryan Chevalier, won first place for boys varsity while the team finished second. The girls were without top runner Sarah Maddix who is out for the season with a stress fracture, but still collected a second place overall finish for varsity.
