Hoxworth currently has a critical need for blood types O and A, as well as platelets. To help meet the need, they are asking all eligible individuals to schedule a lifesaving blood donation immediately.
All blood and platelet donors who roll up a sleeve through December 18 will receive the Home Alone classic, “Filthy Animal” long-sleeve shirt!
NOTE: Whole blood, red cell, and platelet donors will earn an additional e-gift card December 5 – 15:

“The holidays tend to be a difficult time for blood banks across the country, and Hoxworth is not immune to that struggle. Flu season, holiday parties, and winter vacations all impact our donor turnout, and unfortunately the need for blood doesn’t take a break, and patients in local hospitals will still need transfusions.” – Jackie Marschall, Hoxworth spokesperson
Hoxworth operates seven Neighborhood Donor Centers across the Tri-State. Appointments are highly encouraged at this time. To schedule a donation, call (513) 451-0910 or visit www.hoxworth.org.
