City of Loveland and Loveland Schools team up for declaration of January 30, ‘Black-n-Orange Day

LOVELAND, OH (January 24, 2022) – Loveland, already a Tiger Nation with the Loveland Tigers, will officially proclaim January 30, 2022 as “Black and Orange Day” to honor the Cincinnati Bengals as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game Sunday in Kansas City.

In a joint press release issued early Monday afternoon by the City of Loveland and Loveland City Schools, they announced plans for the formal proclamation to be made by Mayor Kathy Bailey with support from the Loveland Schools, and their Loveland Tiger Mascot. During the meeting Tuesday, January 25, the mayor will proclaim January 30, “Black and Orange Day ” in Loveland and wil encourage all residents to wear the Bengal team colors to show their support on Game Day January 30.
Additionally, Loveland City Schools will make Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase and star quarterback Joe Burrow honorary Loveland Tigers!

The meeting will start promptly at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 120 W. Loveland Ave. Please arrive early and allow time to find parking. The proclamation will be read at approximately 7:05-7:10 p.m.
