CINCINNATI – January 1, 2020, In an e-mail message sent to customers early today, Cincinnati Bell announced they have reached an agreement with FOX Corporation.
The e-mail message from Cincinnati Bell is a follow-up to a December 26, 2019 e-mail informing customers of negotiations with FOX Corporation which could have led to Fox pulling their services from Cincinnati Bell Fioptics TV customers.
Here is text of the e-mail received by Cincinnati Bell customers early January 1, 2020.
Dear Valued Cincinnati Bell Customer,
This is a follow-up to the email sent on December 26, regarding negotiations with Fox Corporation.
We are happy to announce an agreement with FOX Corporation has been reached, which not only allows Cincinnati Bell to continue providing FOX News Channel, FOX Business, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2; but Cincinnati Bell and Fox Corporation have also reached an agreement to continue carrying Big Ten Network and the Fox Broadcast Video On Demand (VOD) services.
Cincinnati Bell Fioptics TV customers will NOT lose any of their current FOX Sports Network services
As a Fioptics TV customer, we know you don’t want to pay more for TV service than you have to, so we greatly appreciate your support during this negotiation.
Thank you for being a valued Fioptics TV customer. From our Cincinnati Bell family to yours, Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Cincinnati Bell
