– For 60 consecutive years, the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce has presented the Milford Frontier Days Festival the first weekend in June. That includes 2020, when a hybrid approach allowed the community to celebrate with a virtual parade, a virtual concert, and local food & beverage specials.

In this 60th year, we are expanding and celebrating in multiple ways to present the biggest, best Milford Frontier Days ever!

The festival – the largest in Clermont County and one of the largest in the region – will kick off with the parade on Thursday – a great way to start summer – followed by the traditional rides, games, music, fair foods, and beverages Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 2-4.

To celebrate our anniversary, we have a special treat: Holston’s Baking Co will be selling baked goods, and five cupcakes each day will include a special filling that wins the recipient up to $75 in Frontier Days goodies!

In addition to a wide variety of rides and activities, there will be a brand-new Children’s Craft Area presented by The Craft Lab (including free and paid crafts, as well as paint options from the Paint Playground); a blow-up Laser Tag; and The Foam Garage, where everyone can indulge their inner child and play in the foam. Magic Tom will perform twice on Thursday, once on Friday, and twice on Saturday. On Saturday, we are doubling our Makers Market and adding a classic car show, and FC Cincinnati’s Gary the Lion will be on-site greeting fans and enjoying our rides.

Rides and food booths are popping up all over as preparations for Milford Frontier Days Festival is well underway (Provided)

A different band will perform each night: Counting Skeletons on Friday; The Mondays on Friday; and LunchBox on Saturday.

“Frontier Days started when the Chamber directors at the time took soft drinks down to the canoe racers as they finished their race on the Little Miami River,” explains Ron Swogger, Co-chair of the Frontier Days Committee and Chamber President. “After a few years, they decided to bring a grill and cook out, and the festival grew from there. Today, it is the largest festival in Clermont County and one of the largest in the Cincinnati region.”
